3M™ 468X Silicon Carbide Lapping Film is a more aggressive abrasive material, often recommended over Aluminum Oxide Lapping Film for epoxy and glass removal. It is not commonly used for the later steps in the fiber optic polishing process. It produces an excellent surface finish and can help reduce overall polishing process time.
