    Search Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Database - Fiber Optic Center

    Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), formerly known as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs), are required by law as part of OSHA's Hazard Communications Standard for hazardous chemicals in order to effectively communicate information about the hazards of the chemical being used or handled.

    Note that Covestro SDS are available via request only and not available for download via the SDS Database. Please send an email to fiberopticcenter@focenter.com indicating the part number of the Covestro product and we will forward on the SDS.

    Tips for searching the SDS database successfully:

    • When searching by part number please make sure any spaces or dashes are exactly as they are in the part number (for example: "AB9110LVBL" and not "AB-9110LVBL").
    • When searching by product name, please make sure the registration symbol is included in the name (for example: search "AngstromBond® AB9123" and not "AngstromBond AB9123").

    SDS information includes identification of the product and supplier, properties of each chemical; physical, health, and environmental health hazards; preventive and protective measures to reduce or prevent exposure, or in an emergency); safety precautions for handling, storing, and transporting the chemical; and appropriate responses in various situations (first-aid, fire, accidental release).
