Silicon Carbide Lapping Film
As a more aggressive material, Silicon Carbide is often recommended over Aluminum Oxide for epoxy and glass removal, and is not commonly used for the later steps in the polishing process. ÅngströmLap® Silicon Carbide Film is the recommended brand by the Fiber Optic Center Technical Team.
