ÅngströmLap 30um Silicon Carbide Lapping Film, 12" Disc with PSA Backing, package of 50 discs.
ÅngströmLap® Silicon Carbide Lapping Film is a more aggressive abrasive film material, often recommended over Aluminum Oxide Lapping Film for epoxy and glass removal. It is not commonly used for the later steps in the fiber optic polishing process. It produces an excellent surface finish and can help reduce overall polishing process time.

Pressure Sensitive Adhesive is only recommended when it is completely necessary. Once the film is stuck to the polish surface it cannot be removed and reused. This creates a potential and likely problem of debris adhering to the film that cannot be removed. Any debris that comes in contact with the fiber may cause a scratch. PSA will increase the cost of the lapping film.
