AFL CT58 Fiber Cleaver

The AFL CT58 Fiber Cleaver is engineered for precision cleaving of silica fibers with 80 µm cladding and coatings up to 400 µm. Built for unmatched durability and simplified maintenance, the CT58 sets a new standard among high-performance cleavers.

Blade life is easily monitored and optimized via Bluetooth® connectivity and a companion smartphone app. The CT58 features motorized, push-button blade rotation and a thumbwheel for quick, tool-free height adjustments, streamlining routine maintenance. Its 16-position blade delivers up to 60,000 cleaves, reducing downtime between replacements.

Compatible with Fujikura FH-100 and FH-70 fiber holders, the CT58 cleaver can also operate without holders when paired with an optional adapter plate. Add the optional spacers to achieve six different cleave lengths when used with the RS03-80 thermal stripper.
