AFL FUSEConnect^® Splice-On SC Connector, 50µm (micron) Laser-Optimized Multimode Fiber, 3mm Aqua Boot

AFL’s FUSEConnect® fusion-spliced, field-installable SC connectors are uniquely designed with only four to five components. The factory pre-polished ferrule eliminates the need for polishing, adhesives, or crimping in the field, reducing operator error and costly connector scrap.

FUSEConnect uses a fusion splicer for field termination, addressing return loss concerns in analog optical networks. It is compatible with Fujikura fusion splicers and most fiber holder-based fusion splicing platforms. These connectors are ideal for RF-overlay FTTP networks, Cable TV backbone networks, outside plant (FTTD), MDU FTTP cabling, central office connector replacement, and data center installations.
