The Amphenol Ferrule Connector (FC) ensures reliable optical fiber termination across various network applications. It uses a threaded coupling nut to deliver enhanced pull-out performance. Its internal cavity and epoxy injection tube prevent improper epoxy application, improving manufacturing yields and product reliability.

The single-mode FC/APC connector has a stainless steel body and a ceramic conical ferrule. It includes a 900µm green strain relief boot for added fiber optic cable protection. The tunable FC/APC connector features a tight-fit keyway that prohibits the possible mis-mating between FC/PC and FC/APC connectors.
