ÅngströmLap Silicon Carbide Lapping Film is a more aggressive abrasive film material, often recommended over Aluminum Oxide Lapping Film for epoxy and glass removal. It is not commonly used for the later steps in the fiber optic polishing process. It produces an excellent surface finish and can help reduce overall polishing process time.

The 6" x 6" film sheet is the standard size for the Nanometer MCP-24 Series Polishing Machines.
