Covestro Desolite^® 950-200 Optical Fiber Coating (Splicing and Recoat Coating), UV Cure (1 kg)

The Covestro DeSolite^® 950-200 Optical Fiber Coating is a UV-curable splicing compound that provides long-term protection of optical fiber from moisture and chemicals. Its low viscosity makes this product suitable for all automatic and manual recoat applicators. Available in a 1 kg bottle.

Liquid Coating:

• Viscosity, 25°C: 2,500 mPa·s
• Liquid Refractive Index, 23°C: 1.500

Cured Coating (Tested at <1% R.H.):

• Glass Transition Temperature Range, Tg (-- Peak Tan δ): 26°C (78.8°F)

Cured Coating (Tested at 23°C, 50% R.H.):

• Secant modulus, 2.5% strain: 28 MPa
• Elongation: 55%
• Tensile strength: 9 MPa
• Refractive Index: 1.550
