Domaille Polishing Plate Collar for use with MicroG and Automated Polishing System
The Domaille MG1011 Polishing Plate Collar is designed to retrofit original polishing fixtures for use with Domaille Engineering’s 5400 Automated Polishing Suite. This collar ensures secure and precise alignment between older fixtures and the Micro-G head assembly, which is crucial for achieving consistent, high-quality results.
The Micro-G® head enables true “zero pressure” polishing, meaning there’s no downward force at all, not even from the weight of the fixture. This level of control, combined with micron-level fixture-to-platen positioning, makes it possible to polish delicate, unsupported bare fibers to a precise length without risk of damage.
The Domaille 5400 Automated Fiber Optic Polishing Machine requires the Micro-G®collar to retrofit original fixtures.
