The Dymax 5000-EC UV Epoxy Curing Flood Lamp System is designed for high-intensity, rapid UV curing of epoxy, adhesives, coatings, and inks. The 5000-EC UV curing lamp is ideal for processes requiring concentrated, high-intensity UV light in a narrow 5" x 5" area. These UV (ultraviolet) flood lamps deliver focused light primarily in the UV-A range (320-390 nm wavelength) to achieve maximum cure depths and "tack-free" results, typically within 10-30 seconds.
The Light Shield is designed to protect operators from UV and visible light while ensuring clear visibility of curing parts. As part of the flood lamp light-curing system, these shields offer 360° protection, allowing operators to safely observe the curing process.
The Zip™ Shutter allows the flood lamp to stay on continuously, eliminating the warm-up period needed each time the lamp is turned on and preventing the negative effects that repeatedly turning on and off the lamp has on the bulb. It enhances operator safety by preventing exposure to UV and allows for precise control of exposure times.
