The Dymax Stainless Steel Curtain Assembly Kit is designed for use with the ECE Zip™ Shutter on Dymax flood-lamp curing systems. Because UV light-curing flood lamps require warm-up and cool-down time, exposure cannot be controlled by simply turning lamp power on and off. Instead, the electronic curtain-style shutter regulates UV exposure time, while also protecting operators from direct UV light.
Dymax recommends inspecting the ZIP Shutter curtain each time the lamp is changed. If any signs of wear are present, the curtain should be replaced.
