EPO-TEK® HYB-353ND-HV High Temperature Epoxy, High Viscosity, Hybrid UV & Heat Cure, Single component, Premixed and Frozen in a 3cc syringe
The EPO-TEK® HYB-353ND-HV High Viscosity Epoxy is a single-component, high-temperature epoxy for semiconductor, hybrid, and fiber optic applications. It is formulated to deliver similar cured performance to EPO-TEK® 353ND, with modifications that allow for initial UV tacking. This product is a higher viscosity version of EPO-TEK HYB-353ND. Available Premixed and Frozen, in a 3cc syringe.

Recommended Cure: Initial Tack 100mW/cm2 for 10 seconds @ 240-365 nm + 150°C (302°F)/30 Minutes Thermal Cure.

  • Glass Transition Temperature, Tg: ≥ 100°C (≥ 212°F)
  • Shore D Hardness: 80
  • Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE):
    • Below Tg: 48 x 10-6 in/in°C
    • Above Tg: 143 x 10-6 in/in°C
  • Suggested Operating Temperature: < 300 °C (Intermittent); < 572°F

Optical Properties @ 23°C:

  • Spectral Transmission:
    • ≥ 50% @ 550 nm
    • ≥ 95% @ 1,100-1,600 nm
    • ≥ 98% @ 800-1,000 nm
  • Refractive Index: 1.5545 @ 589 nm (uncured)
