This datasheet redistribution policy applies to this website, www.focenter.com. Fiber Optic Center is located at 23 Centre Street, New Bedford, MA 02740 USA.

Purpose

The PDFs and datasheets published by Fiber Optic Center (FOC) are designed to help customers, partners, and end-users understand and effectively use the products we distribute. Many of these documents originate from our vendor-partners and are provided to FOC with consent for re-branding, personalization, and redistribution. These materials strengthen FOC’s product marketing, protect intellectual property integrity, and enhance search-engine visibility.

Scope

This policy applies to all PDFs and datasheets, user manuals, SDS data sheets, product brochures, and similar downloadable content that FOC publishes — whether created in-house or re-branded from vendor-supplied materials.

Ownership & Rights:

All content contained within the datasheets — including text, tables, graphics, branding, vendor content, metadata, and embedded identifiers — is either the property of FOC, its vendor-partners, or their licensors. FOC, as distribution partner, has permissions to re-brand vendor-supplied datasheets. Unauthorized redistribution or modification of these documents beyond the terms described herein is strictly prohibited.

Permitted Use:

End-users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view, download, and print the datasheet for internal reference only, in connection with the relevant product distributed by FOC or its vendor-partners.

Prohibited Use:

Without the written permission of FOC or the applicable vendor-partner, the following are strictly prohibited:

Reproduction, modification, or redistribution of the PDFs and datasheets on any website or platform other than FOC’s or an authorized partner’s site.
Use of the PDFs and datasheets in a manner that removes, obscures or changes the FOC branding, vendor attribution, or embedded identifiers.
Use of automated tools, including AI training datasets or machine-learning scraping, to extract, reproduce, or analyze datasheet content.
Automated scraping, indexing, or re-hosting of the PDFs and datasheets or its metadata in a manner that bypasses FOC’s or the vendor’s controls.
Aggregation of the PDFs and datasheets into databases or repositories intended for resale or redistribution without express authorization.

Digital Identifiers & Metadata:

Each datasheet carries a unique digital identifier (for example, “FOCSourceID=- | Fiber Optic Center verified source”). This identifier and other metadata are embedded in the document to confirm its source, support tracking of unauthorized usage, and reinforce provenance of vendor-partner content re-branded by FOC.

Examples of such identifiers may include values such as “FOCSourceID=AB9112-2.5G” or similar product-specific codes. These identifiers may be used to trace unauthorized redistribution or confirm the authenticity of a document’s origin.

Enforcement

FOC reserves the right to monitor for unauthorized use of its PDFs and datasheets or vendor-partner materials, issue takedown requests, pursue appropriate remediation (including removal of infringing content), and enforce legal rights on behalf of FOC and its vendor-partners.
Violations of this policy may result in legal action, including DMCA takedown requests. FOC also coordinates with vendor-partners to identify and remove unauthorized reproductions across third-party domains.
