Jonard Tools® MS-426 Mid-Span Cable Jacket Slitter & Ring Tool (5.8mm-12mm)

The Jonard Tools^® MS-426 Fiber Optic Mid Span Slit and Ring Tool is designed to provide easy mid-span access to optical fibers in Prysmian ESMF Optical Mini FlexTube® cables and other thick-walled 5.8 mm–12 mm (0.23"–0.47") jackets, including Corning equivalent cables. One side of the tool slits the jacket, while the other side performs precise ring cuts.

  • 7.8mm–8.4mm (0.31"–0.33")
  • 9.8mm–10.4mm (0.39"–0.41")
  • 11.2mm–12mm (0.44"–0.47")
• Four precision slitting grooves and four precision ring grooves
• Radial/ring cuts on one side, longitudinal slits on the other
• Compact design under 8 oz with a tethering hole for tight spaces or field use
• Blade position indicator for accurate cuts
• Designed for Prysmian ESMF Optical Mini FlexTube® cables and similar style cables
