Jonard Tools® MS-326 Mid-Span Cable Jacket Slitter & Ring Tool (5mm-10mm)

The Jonard Tools^® MS-326 Fiber Optic Cable Mid Span Slit and Ring Tool is designed for easy access to optical fibers in cables with thin-walled outer jackets. Ideal for 5 mm to 10 mm (0.20"–0.39") cables, it provides clean and precise mid-span slits and ring cuts without damaging the fiber. One side of the tool slits the jacket, while the other side performs ring cuts for fast and accurate access.

• Five cable groove sizes:
  • 5.0mm–5.6mm (0.20"–0.22")
  • 6.0mm–6.6mm (0.24"–0.26")
  • 7.2mm–7.8mm (0.28"–0.31")
  • 7.8mm–8.4mm (0.31"–0.33")
  • 9.4mm–10mm (0.37"–0.39")
• Consists of 5 precision slitting grooves and 5 precision ring grooves ranging in size from 5 mm to 10 mm (0.20"–0.39")
• One side of the tool performs radial/ring cuts and the other side slits the cable (longitudinal cut)
• Compact design weighing less than 2.5 oz with included tethering hole makes it perfect to use in tight spaces or on the go
• Indicator line on top of the unit shows the blade position for accurate slitting and ringing
• Designed for Corning fiber cables such as MiniXtend® binderless FastAccess®, HD MiniXtend®, and other similar style cables
