Micro Electronics Micro-Strip® MS‑1‑FS Fiber Stripper for 125/250µm Buffer Coating

The Micro Electronics Micro-Strip® MS1-06S-10-FS Fiber Optic Stripper is designed to mechanically strip 0-250µm buffered fiber quickly and easily, exposing 125–135µm cladding. Its patented, self-centering stripping system ensures precise, concentric scoring without damaging the cladding or core, making it ideal for fiber optic assembly, repair, and production environments.

To operate, simply insert the optical fiber through the guide until the end aligns with the strip-length markings. Squeeze the handles closed to bring the blades together and precisely score the buffer or coating. While maintaining light pressure, withdraw the fiber to complete the strip. The coating is cleanly removed, leaving the glass fiber smooth and undamaged.
