Ripley® Miller ACS-2 Heavy-Duty & Armored Cable Slitter (4 mm - 10 mm)

ACS-2

Miller ACS-2 Adjustable Armored Cable Slitter for 0.157" to 0.393" (4-10mm) cable. [HUBBLE P/N R37897]
The Ripley® Miller ACS-2 Adjustable Armored Cable Slitter is a professional-grade tool designed for slitting jacketed or jacketed and armored multi-fiber cables. Its primary use is to provide midspan access to fiber optic conductors by precisely slitting the outer jacket and armor. The tool features a precision-adjustable blade that protects internal fibers from damage during the process.

The ACS cable slitter is compatible with a wide cable diameter range. It can be adjusted to a cutting depth of up to 0.215” (5.5 mm), making it ideal for fiber optic technicians working on a variety of cable types in the field.

Features:

  • Professional-grade tool ideal for slitting the armor layer on fiber feeders, central tube, and stranded loose tube fiber optic cables
  • Compatible with various non-fiber armored cables
  • Guide wheel design ensures stability and accuracy when slitting both the polyethylene jacket and armor in a single pass
  • Performs both longitudinal slitting and circumferential (ringing) stripping for end prep
  • The red guide wheel lever rotates the blade 90° for fast and efficient mid-span cable preparation
