Opticonx 36 Fiber Unitube Splitter Kit

The SPKU series spltter kit terminates uni-tube or central tube cables from 4 to 36 fibers. This kit also works great on stranded cable designs up to 12 or 24 fibers.

Cable Breakout Kits allow the technician to install connectors directly to loose tube or premise style fiber trunk cables, eliminating the need for splicing pigtails to the cable. Breakout Kits can be time saving devices that require no tools more complicated than a heat gun. Opticonx Breakout Kits use the concept of simple displacement. Each fiber to be terminated is pushed into the breakout tube, pushing out a "dummy fiber." The displacement method assures that there is room for the fiber within the tube and makes the fiber push through easily. Each breakout tube also has aramid yarn strength members to assure a rugged, high strength connection. The kit also includes special heat shrink tubing and an overall sleeve to protect and support the entire terminated assembly and easy-to-follow instructions.
