This fiber optic piano wire is designed for cleaning ferrules in Bare Fiber Adapters and fiber optic connectors, removing glass debris that can block the ferrule and disrupt connections. Because glass is brittle, it often breaks during connectorization, leaving debris that can contaminate or clog the ferrule. The piano wire offers a simple, effective solution, pushing out debris without damaging the connector.
