Soft-Strip Thermal Stripper Kit Strips 250-900µm Coated/Buffered Fiber.

The Micro Electronics MS-SK-2 Soft-Strip® Thermal Fiber Optic Stripping Kit includes the patented MS-4T-E single-fiber thermal stripper and all components required to strip discrete optical fibers with cladding diameters up to 140 µm and coating or buffer diameters up to 900 µm. Equipped with a heater oven, its integral heating elements soften coatings and insulations such as Mylar, Kapton, Teflon, PVC, and Hytrel, allowing single-fiber stripping with less than 1 lb of pulling force. The thermal stripper is powered by an AC wall outlet adapter (sold separately).

Interchangeable fiber guides center and support the fiber during stripping, while the fiber guide lock included with each blade set holds the fiber securely in position to ensure consistent blade engagement and reduce the risk of nicking the glass. The MS-4T-E uses the same interchangeable blade design as Micro Electronics’ non-thermal models.
