Product Change Notification:
As part of our product change notification requirements, Fiber Optic Center is to notify our customers of
any changes in our product packaging. Fiber Optic Center is making the following improvement to the bi-pack material sleeve packaging of AB9119-2.5G. At Fiber Optic Center, we believe this change can ensure an even higher level of product quality and consistency, which is good news for our industry.

1. Burst pouch / Burst seal instead of dividing clip seal – The burst seal bi-pack is more environmentally friendly, since there is no plastic dividing clip. Additionally, the two parts of the burst seal are separated by a seal, so there is no chance for the material to migrate and mix. In rare cases when the dividing clip was not fastened properly, it allowed the resin and hardener to leak under the clip, which prematurely started the epoxy’s pot life. With the burst seal bi-pack, this is not a concern. Please note Burst Pouch Instructions: https://focenter.com/foc-tips-instructions-for-burst-pouch-bi-packs/

Please note that although there is a change in the bi-pack sleeve, the following remains unchanged:
  • Part Number
  • Part A and Part B material
  • Plastic outer packaging that contains the bi-pack material sleeve
Response Required: No response is required.

Samples are available upon request.

NEW Burst seal packaged bi-packs will be provided after depleting our current style stock.
