Fiber Optic Polishing Pucks

Connectors are held during polishing by "polishing fixtures" for machine polishing, often referred to as pucks for manual polishing. Fixtures typically hold multiple connectors to polish at one time. Manual pucks hold 1 connector at a time. These fixtures are extremely important in determining the final endface geometry of the ferrules and are designed per connector style, and thus you must have 1 fixture for each connector type you want to polish.
