Duncan, S.C., March 25, 2024 – AFL, an industry-leading manufacturer of fiber optic cables, connectivity and equipment,  is launching the highly anticipated One-Click® Cleaner MMC, the next generation of its industry-leading One-Click cleaners. The MMC has emerged as the connector of choice for data centers offering A.I. services, based on its high density, performance, and support for next generation optics.

"The demand for AI is driving the need for more performance and higher density connectors”, said Arun Jain, AFL Director of Product and Marketing. "MMC connectors support the high demands needed for these facilities, and the One-Click simplifies the fiber cleaning process, delivering exceptional results and maximizing productivity."

The new One-Click Cleaner MMC has an extended nozzle designed specifically for cleaning highly compact multi-fiber connectors. These connectors are three times denser than traditional MPO connectors. The precision of the one-click action cleans both the ferrule end-face of exposed MMC connectors and those within adapters, as well as MMC Jr. connectors. This unique design significantly reduces cleaning time compared to traditional methods, thereby maximizing productivity.

AFL’s One-Click product portfolio of cleaners provides effortless cleaning with a single push of a button, saving valuable time. This allows fiber technicians to focus on other critical tasks. Additionally, the One-Click Cleaner MMC simplifies and expedites the removal of contaminants in VSSF connectors by combining a gentle cleaning action with a cost-effective, low-profile design.

The One Click Cleaner MMC is available in 16F or 24F MMC connector versions. Click here to view AFL’s complete product line of test and inspection devices plus accessories.
