The ÅngströmLink Resource Center will include the latest material options for the entire OKP Optical Plastic Series and best practice information. Kelly Barker, FOC’s Specialty Product Technical Expert, will be available for appointments at ECOC in Dublin, Ireland,

The ÅngströmLink OKP Optical Plastic Series is injection moldable optical plastic with refractive indices of 1.61, 1.63 and 1.64.

The FOC Manufacturer Part Number is OKP Series.

Fiber Optic Center supplies OKP plastics that are high purity, and polyester polymers that are always improving. Osaka Gas introduced the 1.64 refractive index material with extremely low birefringence. Birefringence in polymers are predominately the result of the molding process.
