Today I want to talk to you about our JIC-275 ergonomic fiber stripper. This fiber stripper has two stripping holes. The first hole is for stripping 600 to 900-micron buffer from the fiber and the second hole is for stripping the 250-micron coating on the fiber exposing 125-micron fiber. A neat feature I’d like to point out is that this tool has an angled jaw at the bottom that allows the fiber if you don’t align it properly when you squeeze it close to just push the fiber up into that stripping hole ensuring you know Nick or scratched or damaged of fiber in any way and ensuring a nice clean strip.
