Opticonx LightTube™ Ribbon Breakout Tubing is available in two types, each designed for 12-fiber ribbon applications.
The first version is ideal for breaking out, protecting, and managing bare 12-fiber ribbons for fusion or mechanical splicing. It features a single-tube construction with no aramid yarn or outer jacket.
The second is a ruggedized breakout tubing for 12-fiber ribbons with 250μm buffered fibers. It is designed to break out ribbons into color-coded tubes for termination with MTP®/MPO connectors. This version includes an inner tube for fiber guidance, aramid yarn for strain relief and fiber optic connector crimping, and a color-coded PVC jacket.
