3M™ 598X Cerium Oxide Flock Pile Lapping Film Disc - 5 inch 0.5µm (micron), PSA

3M™ 598X Flock Pile Lapping Film consists of micron-graded mineral particles coated onto a fibrous polyester film backing. These films break down into a slurry when used with water for polishing MT style, multi-fiber ferrules. Utilizing Cerium Oxide material, these tiny fibers act as a smaller, less aggressive abrasive, as they can move away from or around the work surface. Additionally, it resists tearing from sharp objects that may protrude from certain work surfaces.
