ÅngströmBond® AB9123 Heat Cure, 2-Part Epoxy, 2.5cc of Epoxy Pre-Mixed and Frozen in a 3cc Automatic Cartridge.
The ÅngströmBond® 9123 is a very quick curing, high temperature fiber optic connector epoxy. This low viscosity epoxy system produces a very high strength bond for glass, metal, ceramics and most plastics. This epoxy utilizes the most popular chemistries used for terminating connectors. Available in a pre-mixed and frozen 3cc epoxy syringe.

Features of AB9123 Epoxy:

  • High glass transition temperature allows it to pass the most stringent pistoning specifications.
  • Excellent temperature cycling capabilities.
  • Withstands high-humidity environments.

    • Mixed: Staw/pale yellow
    • Cured: Reddish/amber
  • Specific Gravity: 1.12-1.20 g/cc
  • Mixed Viscosity @ 25°C: 1,800-2,200 cPs
  • Glass Transition Temperature, Tg: 95-120°C
  • Shore D Hardness: 80-88
  • Mix Ratio by Weight, Resin to Hardener: 100/10
  • Dielectric Strength: > 400
  • Solids Content: 100%
  • Lap Shear Strength: < 2900 psi
  • Service Temperature Range: -60°C to 175°C (-76°F to 347°F)

Handling Characteristics:

  • Working Life: 3-4 Hours
  • Minimum Cure Schedule:
    • @100°C for 5 Minutes
    • @120°C for 2 Minutes
    • @150°C for 1 Minute
