Step 1, overview. Your kit will include a two-gallon tank, errand waterlines, cleaning wand, wand holder, filter and fittings. The two-gallon tank holds deionized water and has a two-micron partial filter which keeps contaminants in the water from scratching the fiber. The air and water regulator can be adjusted to get the correct cleaning recipe for your application.

Step 2, setting up your air cleanse system. Important, to ensure the airline shut-off valve is in the closed position. Always pull the pressure relief valve on the top of the tank before removing the cover. Next, lift the handle on top of the tank and remove the pressure lid. Add deionized water until you are two inches below the pressure lid. Secure the pressure lid on top of the tank. Make sure the handle is fully closed seated in the down position. Insert your filter into the water outlet on the top of your tank. Be sure to situate the filter with a flow arrow up away from the tank. Next, insert your water and air tubes through the wand holder. The water tube will be blue and the air tube will be red. Pull the tubes through until the wand sets comfortably in the holder. Connect your blue water line to the fitting on the water filter. Connect the red airline to the manifold fitting on top of the tank. Set up your air supply by inserting the quarter-inch air line into the manifold inlet on top of the tank. Important, before attaching or removing the airline from your polishing machine. Make sure the power switch is in the off position and the incoming air supply is shut off. Connect one end of your tee fitting tube into the back of your polishing machine. Connect your air cleanse wand into the tee fitting and the third end is attached to the air supply source. You can secure your wand holder in one of two locations. One, attach your wand holder to the drip tray collar and adjust the color to fit below the fixture or under your polishing machine. The wand holder must hang over the edge of the surface to lay flat.

Step 3, operating your air cleanse system. The wand is equipped with both air and water buttons these can be used separately or in combination to provide a pressurized mist. The left button will spray water only when pressed, the right button will blow air only when pressed. Holding both buttons down together will produce a pressurized mist important do not use the pressurized air below the drip tray. This forces water and contaminants into the precision wear surfaces and mechanical drive unit. The aircon system can be used to clean the polishing media from the fixture, ferrule and film. It may also be used as a controlled water applicator for polishing film lubrication.

Finally, check the initial cleanliness after each polishing step using the Domaille mini eye scope. The mini eye scope allows the operator to closely inspect the media removal from the feral fixture and film. Pay close attention to the guide pin holes in the MTP/MPO connectors. If scratches still persist corrective actions can be found here in the Domaille Troubleshooting Guide.
