Training Video: How to Mix Epoxy Bi-Packs

View a training demonstration of How to Mix Epoxy Bi-Packs.

Transcript:

The two epoxy components Part A and Part B are either separated with the clip or burst seal. If separated by a clip, remove the clip so that Part A and Part B are no longer separated. If separated by a burst seal, you can break the seal using a roller. Use a roller to continue mixing the epoxy mix for approximately 60 seconds to ensure both epoxy components are fully and homogeneously distributed.

Another option is to mix the two parts using a table edge. Mix approximately 25 uniform passes using a consistent mixing rhythm to minimize bubbles. Make sure liquid from the corners is blended in epoxy should appear very uniform in color and texture with no observable striations of unmixed epoxy components. air bubbles are likely to be present and should be removed by subsequent processing via centrifuging or vacuum degassing.
