CleanBlastPRO is the latest automated fiber interface cleaning system from VIAVI Solutions. This next-generation system gives component and connector manufacturers control of the cleaning process throughout their entire production facilities with multiple features and capabilities to ensure clean end faces for both single and multi-fiber connectors for the utmost and reliability and repeatability. CleanBlastPRO delivers streamlined productivity workflows with fast and effective performance, equipped with an internal tank that can hold over one liter of 3M Novec 72DA solvent. CleanBlastPRO uses a noncontact cleaning method that helps optical component and connectivity manufacturers achieve high first-pass production yields and keep operational costs under control.
With a wide variety of tips that attach to the system’s handset, CleanBlastPRO gives users the flexibility to use the wide variety of fiber connectors used today. In addition, the system allows users to select dedicated cleaning profiles for various connector types. Each profile provides an optimized pattern and ratio of air solvent and vacuum stages to ensure the most effective cleaning performance for the selected connector type. All at the press of a button. Not only is a system effective, it is also easy to maintain, equipped with multiple sensors, color-coded indicators and an integrated LCD screen that provides on-screen messages.
The CleanBlastPRO gives users the key messages and guidance needed to ensure that it always works at peak performance. Viavi Solutions has worked closely with industry-leading connectivity manufacturers to develop this next-generation system that can be easily deployed throughout their facilities to ensure cleaner connector interfaces with reliability, repeatability, and bottom-line operation cost savings.
