Use the included swabs and lint-free wipes with Electro-Wash® PX to clean the fusion splicer, especially the mirror and V-groove. Swabs are also ideal for cleaning ferrules, alignment sleeves, and backplane connections. Electro-Wash® MX premoistened wipes are included for wiping tools, cables, and work areas.
All swabs come packaged in rugged tubes suitable for field use. The entire kit is stored in a durable nylon bag with a carabiner, making it easy to clip onto a tool belt or hang from cables for quick access.
