Jonard Tools® JIC-4377 Cable Slitter & Ring Tool (4.7mm–12.7mm & OFS MiniCord® Cable)

The Jonard Tools^® JIC-4377 Fiber Optic Cable Slitter and Ring Tool is designed to slit and ring many types of buffer tubes, breakout cables, and other jacketed cables. This tool is perfect for slitting OFS MiniCord^® EZ-Bend and similar fiber optic cables.

Slitting Features:

• L-shaped hardened steel guide and blade guard protect buffer tubes and fibers while allowing precise jacket slitting.
• Slitter blade at the top of the tool has 1/4" (6.35 mm) exposed and is held by the 1/2" (12.7 mm) steel guide.
• Shorter L-shaped guide allows easier slitting of smaller cables, including OFS Minicord EZ-Bend.

Ringing Features:

• Located on the back of the handle, the spring steel cable holder keeps the cable in place.
• Sliding metal tensioner increases force to ensure the jacket is fully cut.
• Works on 0.187"–0.5" (4.7–12.7 mm) diameter cables with insulation thickness of 0.031" (0.79 mm) or 0.018" (0.46 mm).
