The Seikoh Giken Silicon Dioxide Final Polish Lapping Film maintains ferrule geometry while improving return loss and endface surface quality. Using a silicon dioxide abrasive, the film polishes the ceramic ferrule and glass fiber at nearly the same rate, helping maintain consistent fiber height throughout the film’s service life. It is suitable for both 2.5 mm and 1.25 mm polishing processes.
