It is Friday and FOC Customer Service has one more member to introduce and locally he is a bit of a ‘celebrity’ you could say… from voiceovers to gigs. Where does the cheese come in? Read on!
Enjoying his third year in customer service, TJ Jansen also came to FOC with service experience in several different fields including hospitality, retail, music and multimedia. He even owned a cheese shop and knows just about everything there is to know about cheeses, olives, olives with cheese in them. On some days you would think we were very sophisticated here in customer service snacking on various pcs of Bruder Basil, Vento d’Estate or maybe some nice aged Monte Enebro.
Even though fiber optics and specialty products were a new and different field for TJ, he has loved the experience as a part of a unique team having success in increasing growth in their company. When collecting notes for this blog, TJ noted being very impressed that FOC went the paperless route and hopes it won’t be long before all businesses go that direction.
TJ resides locally to the New Bedford office and enjoys doing some voiceover work for the New Bedford Economic Development Council as well as the Marion Institute, two terrific organizations that are doing amazing things for the city of New Bedford, Massachusetts. He has such a great speaking voice that not only will you hear him on the FOC after hours voicemail system but he does professional voiceover work for many different advertisements, documentaries and service announcements. He can be heard on the New Bedford Economic Council video which we have on our website: https://focenter.com/corporate-citizen/
When asked about his experience at FOC he offered, (try to hear it in his voice!) “I’m looking forward to another year with a great team. Technology is moving so quickly in this field and there is so much to learn all the time. Regardless, I am constantly impressed at how this company is meeting the challenges of keeping all of our customers all over the world stocked and returning for more business.“
In addition to all that he is involved in, TJ is a talented musician and plays locally in a vocal/guitar duo called Toph and Tom that has quite a following.
He has two boys Thomas, 9, and Sam, 6, who love the beach, swimming and boogie boarding for hours at a time. But if you ask TJ, he is looking forward to fall which is always a favorite time of year for him.
Any other Rush fans out there…?
